|The historic Pine Tavern was started in 1927, with old state Route 221 running behind the restaurant. Originally, the Pine Lodge served meals in their lobby. The fare was similar to what you can find in today’s Pine Tavern. Most of our recipes are from Mama Nell, my grandmother. These recipes were tested by me every Sunday for over 25 years in a small town, much like Floyd, in the shadow of the beautiful Blue Ridge Mountains. We hope that the same feeling of family, hospitality, history, and heritage is imparted to our guests.

The Dark Side Project
Saturday, October 25 from 8 to?, $8 in advance $10 at the door
The Darkside Project is a tribute to the music of Pink Floyd. The Pinksters cover excerpts from Dark Side of the Moon, Wish You Were Here, Animals, The Wall, Meddle and more. They have it all, the soundscape, the rockin’ guitars, the fat bass, those Nick Mason (or in this case Martin) drums, harmonies… and there will be lights! Don’t miss the lights, the sounds, and of course the MUSIC of Pink Floyd performed by this talented group! They are bringing the Floyd to Floyd! You won’t want to miss this show!
